Peter De Mott Peace Trot

2018 Results

Thank you to everyone who participated!

In 2018, the Peace Trot was moved to Cass Park/Treman Marina with a newly designed course run on a combination paved and meadow trail. Michael Roberts, who as far as we know has never run in the Peace Trot, won the race and thus holds the course record of 18:26. Catherine Zettner, also new to the Peace Trot, was the first woman to cross the finish line with a time of 22:42. The second place finisher was Niall Hodges, who won the 2017 event, lowered his 2017 time, run on the hilly Arboretum course, by 46 seconds. The third place finisher was 13 year old Daniel Kingsley. Jenn Berrigan, the 2017 Arboretum fastest woman, finished third and lowered her 2017 time by 1:24. Demi Perry finished second among women in the race.

In the mile run up and down the beginning of the Black Diamond Trail, 7 year old Frankie Menter Jones-Hull won the race, finishing in 8:20. He is the youngest runner to win in the three years that there has been a one mile run at the Peace Trot. The fastest girl was Ella Corson, who finished in 8:33. Ella’s father, David, was the fastest adult finishing in 8:15. Eighty-five year old Frank Baldwin finished the one mile running strong!
